DATA HANDLING / REV 01

Privacy Policy & Email Data Handling

We process only the data needed to provide receiving and forwarding services, with separate details for temporary email, permanent forwarding, and operational logs.

Effective August 6, 2026 · support@tempget.com

1. Scope and Principles

This policy applies to the temporary inboxes, permanent forwarding aliases, and help content on tempget.com. TempGet receives email only and does not provide sending capabilities. Temporary mode requires no account; forwarding mode sends a login verification code to the real email address you provide.

Retention varies by mode. Temporary email is designed for short-term access; forwarding aliases support an ongoing relationship and therefore require us to retain account details, routing settings, and forwarding records from the past 30 days.

2. Temporary Email Data

The system generates a random address and access token. The token is stored locally in your browser and is used to refresh, extend, or replace the address—do not share it. The address is valid for 3 hours by default and can be extended, but its total lifetime cannot exceed 24 hours from creation.

To display messages, we process the sender, subject, body, arrival time, and necessary delivery information. Temporary inboxes do not retain attachments. Messages larger than 100 MB in total are rejected; after expiration, the inbox should no longer be used for account recovery.

3. Permanent Forwarding Data

The forwarding feature processes your real receiving email address, 6-digit verification code, alias, enabled or disabled status, sender rules, and forwarding results. Sessions last up to 7 days, the resend cooldown is 60 seconds, and each account can have up to 100 aliases.

4. Logs and Browser Storage

To prevent abuse, troubleshoot issues, and protect the service, we may temporarily process request times, IP addresses, browser types, API results, and security events. After you clear site data, your device may no longer be able to access the original temporary inbox. Our hosting environment may collect aggregated access and feature events; we do not sell email content or email addresses.

5. Your Controls and Security

  • After a temporary task ends, you can change the address, clear site data, or wait for it to expire.
  • Forwarding account holders can pause or delete aliases and manage sender rules.
  • For data requests, contact support@tempget.com from the email address associated with your account; you may need to verify control of the account.
  • Do not use a temporary email address for banking, medical, government identity, or other highly sensitive information.

We will update the date on this page as features and regulations change. Internet transmissions are never completely secure, so protect your device, verification codes, and login sessions as well.
